Once we receive your enquiry, we'll get in touch to discuss your ideas, availability and quote. Please tell us about any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements on the form.

We recommend ordering at least 2 weeks in advance wherever possible. We can sometimes take orders at shorter notice, so if your celebration is coming up soon, give us a call and we'll see if we can help.

Yes. A selection of designs can be ordered with as little as 2 days' notice, subject to availability.

Yes. Share your ideas and inspiration pictures with us and we'll work with you to bring your vision to life.

Reference and inspiration photographs are very welcome and can be uploaded on the enquiry form.

Every Cake Me Away creation is individually handmade, so we cannot guarantee an exact replica of another cake. We will work from your inspiration to create a design with a similar overall look, while keeping the handcrafted nature of our work.

Yes, we're always happy to work with different budgets. Tell us your budget when enquiring and we'll suggest suitable options.

Every cake is different. Some designs are fairly simple, while others involve intricate details, handcrafted decorations and many hours of work.

Our prices reflect the size, complexity, time, skill and attention to detail your cake needs.

For orders of £70 or less, full payment is required at the time of booking.

For orders over £70, a 50% deposit secures your booking, with the remaining 50% payable no later than 3 days before collection or delivery.

Your booking is not confirmed until the required payment has been received. Our cancellation policy applies if you later need to cancel.

By bank transfer, arranged directly once your order is confirmed.

Serving numbers are approximate and based on our recommended portion sizes. The actual number of portions depends on how the cake is cut and served.

Please tell us about all allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements before placing your order. We will discuss the relevant allergen information with you before accepting your order, and allergen information for your cake will be provided with it where applicable.

All flavours contain egg, soya, nut traces, gluten and dairy. Carrot cake also contains nuts, raisins, spice and pineapple.

Yes. Vegan cakes are available on request, made without egg, dairy or any other animal products. The allergen statement above covers our standard recipes. Vegan cakes are baked in the same kitchen, so traces of egg, dairy and nuts cannot be ruled out. Tell us on the order form which flavour you would like and you will get a quote back.

Yes. Delivery is available for an additional charge. Delivery fees are calculated based on the location. Give your postcode when enquiring and we will confirm the delivery cost.

For larger cakes that need setting up at the venue, set-up charges are separate and are not included in the delivery fee. These are quoted separately depending on the cake and what the set-up needs.

Yes. Collection is from Huddersfield, HD3 3HL, by appointment only. A collection time must be agreed beforehand, so please arrive within your agreed collection window.

Small changes may be possible if you contact us at least 10 days before your collection or delivery date. We will always try to accommodate reasonable requests, but changes cannot be guaranteed and may incur an additional charge.

Yes, of course. We can create matching cupcakes to complement your cake and theme. Just let us know when you enquire.

Yes. Share your reference pictures, theme and requirements with us and we'll create a cake especially for your celebration.

Yes, absolutely. You're welcome to provide your own cake topper or suitable decorations and we'll be happy to work them into your cake design.

Yes. Cake Me Away creates bespoke wedding cakes as well as birthday, celebration and novelty cakes. Use the enquiry form to tell us about your wedding and the cake you have in mind.

Buttercream starts at £45 for a bento serving 6, £70 for a 6 inch serving 12 and £85 for an 8 inch serving 20. Novelty cakes start at £90 for a 6 inch and £120 for an 8 inch. Two tier starts at £130 in buttercream and £160 in novelty. Every price is a starting price and the final figure is quoted once the design is settled.

A themed cake covered in fondant: sharp edges, sculpted shapes and hand modelled figures. Buttercream cakes are piped, combed or painted, Lambeth style included, and finished in Italian meringue buttercream. Novelty takes more hand work, so it starts higher. Every size is made in buttercream; bento is buttercream only.

Classic vanilla, Victoria sponge, chocolate, lemon, salted caramel, Lotus, carrot, Nutella and red velvet. Custom flavours are available on request. All flavours contain egg, soya, nut traces, gluten and dairy.

Yes. A happy birthday message, an age or a number is included in the price. Put the wording in the design box on the order form.

Yes. Everything is halal, and everything is baked to order.

Yes. Three tier and onwards is quoted on enquiry and design, so send your date and guest numbers and you will get a figure back.

Cupcakes are from £20 for a box of 6, £36 for 12 and £50 for 18. Custom sugar cookies are from £35 for a box of 12. Custom quantities are quoted on enquiry. They have their own order form.
